We've been doing website and graphic design for twenty-five years. Like many small businesses, what started as a hobby turned into a side-hustle, and then evolved into an actual company.
Why Marble Hill Design? We're based in Hawley, Pennsylvania, in a section of town that was primarily settled in the 1800's by Irish immigrant families whose breadwinners worked on the construction of the Delaware & Hudson Canal. The homes were very basic, so the area was referred to as 'Shanty Hill' by those outside of it. As conditions improved and wealth spread, the basic homes were replaced and the residents rebranded the area as Marble Hill. We're Irish, we live on Marble Hill, and the name just felt...right.
Why choose us? We could create a super long list for you, but the bottom line is that we provide our clients with bespoke service based upon their individual needs. Fifty page website with ecommerce? No problem. Single page website for a fundraising event? Happy to help. Wedding? Of course! And, no worries about your skill level...whether you have no idea where to start or if you've been down this road before but just want someone to take on a task you no longer have time for off your plate, we've got you covered. We walk each and every one of our clients through the process from start to finish in a way that works best for them.
What does all this cost? We charge $45 an hour and bill in 1/4 hour increments for all our services. An average five page website without e-commerce usually takes between ten to twelve hours if the client provides all the material we need (photos, text, and so forth). We always provide quotes and/or proposals after discussing your needs with you so you can budget accordingly, and an initial deposit of half of the estimate is required in advance.
